Is there a fee to attend Camp Success?
Yes, the cost to attend a one-week session of Camp Success is $125.  Specific details are different for each camp.  Click on the location you are interested in and read the details for that camp on the location page.
Is Camp Success open to private school students?
Camp Success is open to both private and public school students and all are welcome to apply and participate in Camp Success.

Is transportation provided to Camp Success?
Parents or trusted guardians are responsible for transporting students to and from camp each day.
What will be done to ensure my child’s safety and supervision while at the camp?
The safety and well-being of our campers is a top priority for camp administration and faculty. Every camp activity will be closely supervised by qualified faculty, senior level student volunteers and resident or mentor engineers.
Campers will not leave the campus unless in the presence of a staff member. If a camper does need to leave campus with a family member or someone previously designated and authorized by a parent or guardian they will do so under direct supervision of camp faculty. Camp rules to ensure camper’s safety include:
• Campers should be present for all camp activities.
• Any scheduled field trips or visits to design project locations will be supervised at all times.
• Campers will not wander around campus and must ALWAYS travel with a staff member.
• Campers must not bring or invite any outside guests to campus during the program.
Is it necessary to attend all camp sessions?
Campers should attend 100% of all sessions in order to graduate. All campers will be held to high (age appropriate) standards and are expected to participate in all program activities. Camp sessions are highly concentrated, so missing one session would be a disadvantage and significant loss of learning opportunity.
What are the activities during the week?
Camp Success is designed to stimulate creativity, present students with interactive challenges, and provide the satisfaction of seeing ideas in action. Campers will work in small teams on real design and engineering problems. Activities will challenge their creative and critical thinking skills, and show them how to work together to reach solutions that draw on everyone’s strengths. Field trips, as well as recreational and social activities, will help the campers meet new people, learn new things, and have fun while at Camp Success. What are the criteria for selection to Camp Success?
Each camp has unique selection criteria but in general, successful applicants for Camp Success are middle school students interested in exploring different facets of engineering and technology.  At the middle school level, the priority is to generate interest among a broad range of students and to provide the opportunity to explore career opportunities.
How can I become a volunteer at Camp Success?
See Volunteers or contact the camp director for the location where you are interested in volunteering.  Volunteer support is needed from local companies and organizations, middle school teachers and technical college or university students.
What is the ratio of students to leaders at Camp Success?
Projects are supervised by a faculty and camp staff and designed to have 10:1 student to staff ratio, which we feel is important to provide sufficient support for these projects. In addition to instructors from the technical colleges and experienced middle school teachers, each project will have an engineer mentor from local industry to assist with the design project.
How many students will attend each Camp?
Thirty (30) students will be accepted for each camp.
