Camp Success

Engineering & Industrial Technology

Piedmont Technical College’s Engineering and Industrial Technology Camp Success will introduce students to technology with hands on activities that they will remember for years to come. Working in teams alongside mentors, students will explore science, engineering, and industrial technology topics. Proposed activities include hands on activities in various technology fields, such as Robotics, Computer-aided Drafting, Mechatronics, Electrical, and Electronics.

Engineering and Industrial Technology Camp Success is open to rising 7th, 8th, and 9th graders.

Camp will begin with a Parents’ Meeting and Orientation on Sunday July 12 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, July 13 to 16 will run 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday, July 17 will run 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a closing ceremony with parents from 12:30 p.m. till 2:00 p.m.

The cost to attend Engineering and Industrial Technology Camp Success is $75 which will cover the cost of materials, lunch, snacks and field trips.

All applicants must complete the application packet that includes the following:

  • Completed and signed application.  Download Application Here
  • An essay of 250 words or less describing why you would like to attend the Engineering and Industrial Technology Camp Success.
  • Fee of $75
  • Guidance Counselor letter of recommendation
  • Return application by May 1, 2009 to Vickie Baldwin
