![]() Camp Success SenecaSession 1 - June 30-July 1, 2011 Session 2 - July 18-22, 2011 Both sessions are full Seneca Middle School will host two sessions of Camp Success during the summer bridge program. Campers will spend the week exploring careers in engineering and technology in state-of-the-art facilities. Students will work in teams lead by subject area experts/mentors and participate in activities that they will remember for years to come. Exploring a wide range of programs such as Engineering, Transportation, Manufacturing, Industrial Technologies, and Mechatronics, campers will gain an excellent understanding of the world of technology. Discoery Workshops may include activities in fields such as Engineering, Engineering Graphics, Computer-aided Design, Robotics, Mechatronics, Building Construction, Electronics, and Automotive Technology. Camp Success Seneca is open to rising 7th and 8th graders. Camp will begin with a Parents’ Meeting and Orientation on Sunday from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. During Sunday's orientation, campers will begin by learning aboout specifications and build Ice Cream Sundaes. The camp will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, Monday through Friday. Each day is filled with an exciting and diverse schedule of Discovery Workshops, learning lab activities, and field trips to local companies. Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. is Celebration Day for campers, their families and guests. A parent information session will be followed by team presentations and recognitions. The cost to attend Camp Success Seneca is $125 (which covers the cost of materials and field trips). Program Coordinator: Tammy Brock
