The Design Challenge supports the motivation to succeed in school by providing an exciting learning experience that has real world applications. We encourage students to use research to produce a written essay and design a creative solution to a real world problem.

Winning students receive scholarships and their schools receive monetary awards.

Deadline to submit designs and essays to Regional Career Specialists is February 15, 2012.

Deadline for regions to submit entries to the state competition is February 29, 2012.
